Easter Sunday - Day 7, Resurrection

What is a thing that all people are afraid of? The answer is death. For death makes everything lost and ended. However, there is a person who defeats death permanently. Jesus Christ is the one. He did not wake up for a moment. He has life which death never win again. For this reason, he is raised from death. He proves the authority of death is powerless to him

As it was mentioned, death cannot beat life again. When we live in the life of Jesus, we become like him, who overcomes passing. Why has there been death? He tells us it is because of sin. The reason why he defeats death is he does not have any sins. The meaning of ‘it is finished’, which he spoke on the cross, is that he forgives our trespasses, fulfils righteousness, annihilates poverty and makes wealth, abolishes curse and makes us blessed, is ill to heal us, and revokes the authority of death to let us gain immortality.

Then, what kind of life do we get through his resurrection? First, we live with enjoying being forgiven in Jesus Christ. We are given the grace of opportunity of new life and recovery. Second, we enjoy freedom. Third, we enjoy richness. This is not because we have something, but Jesus is everything to us. Fourth, we enjoy being blessed like Abraham in our life. Fifth, we have hope. A person who have this hope will not be discouraged by any situations. For we have hope, we can do the work of god with this body, and we can overcome unbearable hardships. Sixth, we live to prove. Jesus spread the work of the Lord until he was ascended into heaven.

Christian should not walk by faith superficially. Faith is not theory and daydream, but reality. Resurrection is real, and revival faith actually works too. Live with the power of resurrection in the world.
