Passion Week - Day 6, The death

We have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, through his blood in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. Also, we have known that was achieved by the crucifixion of Jesus at Calvary. Imagine how he was suffered at that time. Jesus, the son of God, was put in the lowest position, which was inferior to Barnabas, the murderer. Also, his beloved disciples betrayed him when facing danger. That was tremendous stress to him. While he was scourged and crucified on the cross, he felt endless pains on his whole body.

People were afraid of darkness. Darkness came over all the land at the death of Jesus. When he gave up his spirit, the earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. People probably were horrified by what they saw. However, through his death, our physical and mental diseases are healed. His power is strong enough to save our souls. Sins cannot take a control of us because of Jesus. Remember our birth has been started with the blood of Jesus, and he keeps the faith of us.
